 The Role

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating account service activities and soliciting new business as the primary client contact
  • Support Producer led new business activities
  • Reviews coverage for accuracy of policy provisions
  • Meets with clients for pre-renewal strategy, proposal delivery and explanation
  • Responsible for renewal of existing clients
  • Conducts client open enrollment meetings and answers questions regarding benefit coverage
  • Ensures that client team handles benefit inquires effectively to service employees
  • Resolves escalated service issues
  • Manages new carrier and plan implementations for book of business
  • Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer
  • Engages in optimal and appropriate usage of applicable agency management systems

Background Profile:


  • Successful background and experience in employee benefit business
  • Collaborative and Responsive
  • Well versed in industry legislation such as ACA, COBRA and HIPM
  • Have a proven track record of exceptional customer service
  • Can effectively communicate and make presentations to retain existing accounts, implement new business and support day to day customer service execution
  • Have strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Good knowledge of self-funding preferred but not required
